I just bought a ic-V82 HT.  I am very pleased with it.  Its kinda confusing in programing it but after spending several hours going through the manual i got it programed finally.  However,  I dont like about it, is the belt clip is secured by 2 tiny screws to the battery pack.  So if you have an extra battery pack, you would have to carry a screw driver to change the belt clip from one to the other or spend a few more bucks and by an extra belt clip.  I have no idea what Icom was thinking on that one.  Nor do I like the little plastic spacer used in the drop in charger.  It is in 2 pcs and must be separated for use with either the full HT in it or just the battery pack by itself.

Come on Icom, surely you can do a better design than that.....
